My friend, Judi, was so pleased to see the Whale on the shelves that she sent me this photo.<\/p>\n<p>Next to <em>Whale in the Door<\/em> is <em>Carbon Play<\/em>, a fascinating book by Robert Falls. Robert and I read together last fall at a Read Local BC event at Co-op Books in Vancouver, along with other authors of environmental books about BC. Two books to the right is <em>Refugium: Poems for the Pacific<\/em> edited by Yvonne Blomer, and published by my publisher, Caitlin Press. Immerse yourself in the waters of the Pacific through this collection of poems by eminent poets such as Lorna Crozier, Patrick Lane, Jan Zwicky and Bruce Cockburn.<\/p>\n<p>There is so much beauty in the province of British Columbia, so much to learn about my adopted province.
