Whale in the Door

A Community Unites to Protect BC's Howe Sound

READINGS & WORKSHOPS

LAUNCHES READINGS & WORKSHOPS:

August 2021

To honour the 50th anniversary of Lions Bay Village (Ch’ich’iyuy Elxwikn) I was asked to record the section of Whale in the Door that tells the story of The Sisters/Ch’ich’iyuy, as told to me by Squamish Nation storyteller, Rebecca Duncan (Tsitsayamat). I would have preferred to have Rebecca tell the story herself but she was not available. The book is available at the Lions Bay Store and the recording is part of a walking tour.
